It looks like a drying tube to me because it is very dry. I like dry mascaras, but this is definitely the driest mascara I've ever tried. It does a pretty good job of defining it, I'll give it to him. So if you're looking for something nice, dark, defined, and relatively natural looking, your lashes will look pretty pretty with them. Plus it's pretty crazy proof of what's beautiful, especially for newbies. But if you're looking for something that offers something like volume or length, this mascara is the pass (unless that particular tube is dry).
