If you buy this product to ensure that the LEDs actually light up when connected to a power source, then be sure to buy them! If you really want to SEE something on the back of your car I would recommend a different product. I installed 2 sets i.e. 160 leds in the trunk of my Nissan NV200 minivan and it's still hard to see at night. In addition, half of it fell off within 2 weeks because the double-sided tape is not 3M Automotive quality. Of course I can go to Pep-Boys and spend even more money to buy actual films, but at what point do we stop trying to make them work and just accept the fact that they are actually made for an art - and craft project and not illuminate the bed of my work truck. I'll rip them out and replace them with regular lightbulbs. Shiny but not bright and not sticky.
