Break off when screwing in
This is a good choice for screw eye hooks, especially when you are not sure which size to choose. However, 8 out of 10 broke during installation. I used them to attach a yarn hanger to pieces of birch for decoration. I've pre-drilled holes or used a straight mandrel to make a guide in the wood, but every time I turned the lug the screw in the wood broke. They might have been strong enough for other purposes, but they didn't keep up with other brands. Eye hooks that I used for my jewelry.
