Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice addition to my sewing arsenal - works very well.

Great job! I will buy more when I run out. I tried Stitch Magic first because it's worked great in the past, but these pants wouldn't hold up. They didn't meld properly with the witchcraft of the stitches and came off completely after a single wash. So frustrating. I needed an alternative and I had 5 pairs of pants that needed hemming so I panicked. Luckily I found this hot melt tape and decided to give it a try. I don't always hem seams and needed a quick fix. It worked very well. There are directions in Japanese, but there are directions in English as well. You need to know what your clothing or fabric is made of, as cotton is treated differently than synthetics. You wet the hot melt tape before applying it to the area you want to line, which is different from other hot melt products I've used. This hot melt tape consists of narrow strips or strands of material that are fused to the fabric and attached ON ONE SIDE ONLY. You should make sure that you place it sticky side down on the seam/edge area. I almost ironed it sticky side up so please note that there is a slight learning curve with this stuff. Added bonus: it covers the area where the folded fabric and the actual pant leg meet. It covers the hemmed area so you don't get your fingers caught in the hem seam. He also looks beautiful. A big plus is that it comes in a variety of colors, so you can match it with clothes or fabric. Step-by-step instructions with illustrations are included, making it easy for you to use this product. I apologize for the typos and brain disorders, I have insomnia associated with laundresses and seamstresses.
