So I removed the hem since it was about an inch and a half long and folded it over.

I'm not a big sewer lover but my daughter has these karate pants which were expensive and she's grown up so I took the hems off as they were about an inch and a half and folded them and sewed it up, but it wore out every time I washed it. I've used this to redo work I've been doing and it went well and it keeps it from wearing out as well :) it doesn't come loose either.

Nice addition to my sewing arsenal - works very well.

Great job! I will buy more when I run out. I tried Stitch Magic first because it's worked great in the past, but these pants wouldn't hold up. They didn't meld properly with the witchcraft of the stitches and came off completely after a single wash. So frustrating. I needed an alternative and I had 5 pairs of pants that needed hemming so I panicked. Luckily I found this hot melt tape and decided to give it a try. I don't always hem seams and needed a quick fix. I bought these to make hemming some pants and other clothes easier. What I love about this product is that it gives the hem a very professional look, especially when you match the color of the fabric. Unlike thermal tape, this product is impregnated with glue.
