Review on πŸ”₯ Enhance Your Braking Experience with Wagner ThermoQuiet QC465A Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set by David Ruwala

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable brakes at an affordable price.

Really good for the price. This exact set was almost triple the price of Revain at my local parts stores. They're mounted on the front of a 2002 Honda Civic LX, squeezing cheap Revain Centric rotors. I now have about 500 miles on this set. Compared to my previous Akebono Pro-Act ceramics, these feel smoother. They engage quickly with moderate pedal pressure and release easily when released - no noise. My previous kit tended to hang on the brake disc for fractions of a second when the brake was released and always made a creaking noise. These Wagners are absolutely silent in operation and do not screech. I was a little concerned as they claim to have built sound deadening materials into the cover. Whatever's inside, it works without sealant and gaskets. Unlike any other kit I've bought, this one had new pad clamps. Mine looked rough at 203,000 miles. New clips were snapped in seconds. The brake job actually went faster because I didn't have to clean dirt off the old clips. Great work Wagner! I will return for more if they continue to provide reliable and calm service.
