Review on Vornado Silver Vintage Oscillating Brushed by Katie Evans

This fan is really COOL! This fan blows! This fan makes me SPIN! This fan makes me WALK ON THE AIR! Ok, I really like the fan. Why do you ask? It looks good, seems to be really well made and lets a lot of air through thanks to Vornado's unique leaf design. As soon as you open the box you will love the shiny aluminium/metallic, which is reminiscent of the 1960s. This is more than just a showpiece, it appears to be superbly constructed and works very well. Once you turn it on, it gets loud enough to provide ambient noise for sleeping, but not so loud that you can't hear anything. The sound of the spinning blades and the running engine sounds like a finely tuned, smooth-running engine. It squeaked a little at the end of the turn for the first week in oscillating mode, but that has since stopped - it must have just taken some getting used to. The only criticism is that you can't tilt the fan very high. Sometimes we like to point the fan towards the ceiling because we want the air to circulate without feeling like the fan is blowing on you. If you put this fan on the floor and try to point it towards the ceiling, you won't be very happy with the upward tilt range. We keep ours on our bedroom dresser and leave it on all night while we sleep so it works great for our application.
