I have a Honeywell humidifier and always put a hygrometer on it to see how much moisture is coming out of the top of the machine. With the OEM wick I got 25% max, but with this wick I get even 55-65%. It's amazing how changing the wick can more than double the performance of a humidifier! For people who say their wick immediately turned brown or smelled moldy, it's because of the particles that collect in the water. When the water evaporates from the wick, it leaves behind solid particles that need to be washed off periodically. Try cleaning the bowl with the wick. You may find a small sediment inside. You should also rinse and flip the wick every time you fill the water tank. This will help your wick last longer and perform better. I think these wicks are great! Use them properly and they will benefit you!
