Slow as molasses.

I really, really, really wanted to love this item. I mean come on It's like an Android phone on your wrist! It looks very ridiculous and cartoonish. It's like a 1990's TV show trying to predict the stupid things that will happen to us in the future. But hey, that's my style! But for me the problem is that this thing is slow. Actually, at first I thought mine might be defective because I haven't read anything about the watch being so sluggish in all the YT reviews I've looked at. The best way I can describe it is if you bought one of those $30-$50 Android phones that MVO sells. It's in the same stadium. I have to reserve I'm a techie. I always download the latest phone every year (I currently have a Note 20 Ultra as my main device). so very slow for me. can be perfectly normal and tolerable for other people. I mainly used it as a controller for my Insta 360 One R when I was on the bike. Unfortunately, the performance of the watch is too slow. The Insta 360 One R recognizes this, so you won't even be able to find the app in the Play Store as Google will automatically filter out incompatible apps for your device. Trying to download the APK manually is not a workaround as the installer will detect an incompatibility and not proceed with the installation. I see this question gets asked a lot too. What service providers is this item compatible with? I can report that Sprint will work with it without any problems. I also have T-Mobile and it worked great with the device too. AT&T is a GSM carrier, so I assume it will work fine with that. I have no idea about Verizon. Anyway, I hope this helps anyone who wants to get their hands on this nifty little device. I guess if you just want a big screen Android watch. Act! However, if you believe that you will have a fully functional Android smartphone on your wrist. it's not that. You'll see a lot of crashes, apps you can't download, and constantly waiting for something to download.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
