Review on Pentax DA 35mm f/2.4 AL Lens for Digital SLR Cameras by John Lim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

It seems that the toy is not so expensive, but the optics are very good. For beginners, the lack of zoom is very annoying, the optics - they and the whale are behind the eye, the aperture ratio is better, perhaps - the percentage of good shots in low light will be greater. Take a whale instead, if not for some type of reporting, and don't be afraid to move more with the fix. 35mm on the crop is a 38 degree horizontal field of view. And I really liked it on film, but this is already subjective.

Pros
  • Universal focal. Luminosity is normal. Small, lightweight. Cutting. There is no palpable dystrophy. I don't remember chromatism. Zaitsev did not see, as the backlight holds with a bang. Despite the DA marking, there are no vignettes on the film. It seems because it is a reworking of the old FA 35 / 2.0.
Cons
  • The structure is plastic. Fix, they have their own shooting specifics. There is no diaphragm ring, but it has not been needed for the last 15 years. I don’t even know what to write about the shortcomings.
