The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The impression is very good, they can say that 70% of the successful shots that went into business from this glass! And the number of these successful shots is only growing :) I will buy another one :)

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

That's it, the whale is resting. How to set and forget.)) I recommend! But the price could be a little less, for the absolute ideal) . It doesn't get more universal. Got pros: Easy, quick focus, sharp enough throughout the frame, good colors, angle of view, resolution, size and build quality . excellent glasses . Got cons: There is little distortion. well, plastic, I don’t really consider this a disadvantage, especially if it is rarely removed.

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Blurring, in my opinion, is harsh (this is very subjective, of course, therefore not in shortcomings). And in bright light (sun) it becomes quite pleasant. Often I carry only it, almost always enough. A plastic mount with a low weight - I think, rather, a virtue. With its pros. Light; luminosity; convenient focal; fast and accurate autofocus. Has some cons A little bit cheaper with the same quality - it would be ideal. But it is, nitpick.

For the landscape, not very - the color reproduction is not so juicy and I would like it to be wider Good for cityscapes from rooftops - good sharpness does the trick. At 2.4, some sluggish and hard at the same time, in a word, the picture is too straightforward, not artistic - therefore it is not beautiful enough for flowers Fully pays for itself at a price, but as it usually happens all the time, you want either wider or narrower His element is medium distance. Up close, harsh. In the…

    Pros
    • Sharp at 5.8-8 Inexpensive Light High-aperture (against the background of a whale)
    Cons
    • Not plastic (hard bokeh) Inconvenient focal Color rendering at 4

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Decent lens for little money. Sharpness at 2.4 was even better than at 40/2.8 Lim! I bought a lim six months before 35. If I had known in advance, I would have bought 35/2.4 and 50/1.8 for the price of one 40 lima. I repeat once again - the sharpness is simply amazing, I got a good copy. Practically does not chromate, the same lima has a lot of HA (purple halo) in contrasting places. You will not find such a decent glass for such money on any system. Very light due to the absence of metal…

    Pros
    • unusual sharpness for budget glass, price, light weight
    Cons
    • bayonet plastic version

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

This fix cost me 8200. I already ordered a hood for it in advance (by the way, it is foldable, rubber, funny in general), and after I took a few test photos, the whale retired. Photos are sharp and juicy with nice bokeh. It's also great for video. In general, for its cost, this is an excellent staffer with cool optics, which is able to produce clear and lively photos)

    Pros
    • High sharpness and clarity, convenient focal length, three-dimensional and plastic picture, awesome both phase and contrast autofocus. fairly high aperture, pleasant bokeh, reasonable price. the lens itself is compact and lightweight
    Cons
    • Sometimes there are misses on the open aperture. There is no lens hood in the kit.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

I combine with the k10d camera. A good lens, although there are some troubles. So, with autofocus on an open hole, there is zero sense from it - it never got into focus, and it smears very much. There are no problems with manual focus, so I use it. Might be worth tweaking it. Pleasant bokeh for me, although the 77lim is much more interesting. Now he stands as a staff member, and is quite satisfied

    Pros
    • Sharp enough Convenient focal Almost didn't notice distortion. Holds up well in backlight Pleasant enough bokeh
    Cons
    • Perceptible aberrations, especially along the borders of black and white Strong front focus at small apertures

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

I didn’t have enough money for lim because of the New Year’s Eve toad, I wanted a fortieth pancake to pair with k5. But now I don't regret it. Completely satisfies me as an amateur as a staff member. Now I will buy with similar focal lengths if I stick to Pentax. So far so good) Of course, for example, 43 draws differently, but. :) In general, who does not want to throw money away on a whale, I safely recommend a carcass for everyday use.

    Pros
    • Pretty frisky autofocus for a Pentax Execution quality Nice blur
    Cons
    • Strong front focus wide open

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Good lens for your money. In poor lighting conditions, 2.4 is not always working (autofocus smears). If the light is better and especially natural, then it is quite possible to shoot at 2.4. At 2.8 everything is fine. Beautiful bokeh. Very versatile! Fifty dollars 1.4 is now only for shallow depth of field. I use with K-r. The quality of the picture, the colors are very pleasing. Especially after nikon D90. Could be a little cheaper too.

    Pros
    • Aperture bokeh
    Cons
    • Small distortions, edited in lightroom with one tick

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

It seems that the toy is not so expensive, but the optics are very good. For beginners, the lack of zoom is very annoying, the optics - they and the whale are behind the eye, the aperture ratio is better, perhaps - the percentage of good shots in low light will be greater. Take a whale instead, if not for some type of reporting, and don't be afraid to move more with the fix. 35mm on the crop is a 38 degree horizontal field of view. And I really liked it on film, but this is already…

    Pros
    • Universal focal. Luminosity is normal. Small, lightweight. Cutting. There is no palpable dystrophy. I don't remember chromatism. Zaitsev did not see, as the backlight holds with a bang. Despite the DA marking, there are no vignettes on the film. It seems because it is a reworking of the old FA 35 / 2.0.
    Cons
    • The structure is plastic. Fix, they have their own shooting specifics. There is no diaphragm ring, but it has not been needed for the last 15 years. I don’t even know what to write about the shortcomings.

In good light, this lens is excellent for close-up and medium-range photography. With this Pentax 21987 DA 35mm f/2.4 AL lens I've taken some excellent shots for Pentax DSLRs with my Pentax K30, K5 and K100D. I am amazed at the sharpness of this lens on close subjects. It's difficult to get a sharp image with this lens in dark conditions, but if you work hard enough you'll be rewarded with very good low-light images. My K5 and K30 take the best low light shots with this lens. Of course, this is

    Pros
    • Compact and lightweight design: approx. It is convenient to carry with you.
    Cons
    • Obsolete

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not your atypical fantastic plastic picture

I've read a lot of reviews on many websites about this lens but the two that sold me were Photozone, an excellent review there as well as on DPReview. When I saw this on the $177 Revain I grabbed it. The description said there would be cosmetic damage to the box, which made me a little wary, but Revain has a really great returns policy, so I wasn't overly concerned. Well the lens was in perfect condition and I was surprised at how well made it was and although I only took a dozen photos with…

    Pros
    • High resolution image: This lens uses hybrid aspherical lenses to correct various types of aberrations and deliver sharp, high-contrast image quality from minimum to maximum distance
    Cons
    • A newer model could have been chosen

The perfect companion for my Kx!

Free shipping was fast as usual, thanks to Revain.com! I'm just telling you why I chose this lens. I was at a kids party about two weeks ago, I took my Kx with a 18-55mm kit lens. I set the ISO to 1600 (sometimes 3200) automatically. I didn't use flash at all. In most cases the light in the room was enough for a decent photo. However, the children were moving a lot and fast, the shutter speed just wasn't enough to capture these actions, so a fast lens is clearly needed in this situation. I have

    Pros
    • Amazing image performance: aspheric lenses are used to minimize spherical aberration
    Cons
    • No car
