Review on Pentax DA 35mm f/2.4 AL Lens for Digital SLR Cameras by Russell Robertson

In good light, this lens is excellent for close-up and medium-range photography. With this Pentax 21987 DA 35mm f/2.4 AL lens I've taken some excellent shots for Pentax DSLRs with my Pentax K30, K5 and K100D. I am amazed at the sharpness of this lens on close subjects. It's difficult to get a sharp image with this lens in dark conditions, but if you work hard enough you'll be rewarded with very good low-light images. My K5 and K30 take the best low light shots with this lens. Of course, this is a K-mount lens, if I do say so myself. I'm not a professional photographer, so I won't talk about photography. All I know is that I take pictures as a hobby because I like to take pictures of beautiful things. I can get many more good shots with this lens and I'm glad I bought the Pentax 21987 DA 35mm f/2.4 AL lens for my Pentax DSLRs. I'm deducting one star for the cheap plastic construction of the lens barrel.
