No installation guide is included, only the manual shown on the product page. It wasn't very difficult. It actually took longer to apply and remove the adhesive backing than actually putting the lid on. Just to let you know that the adhesive stickers are separate from the button covers. You need to stick them on the covers and then stick the covers on the button. I wasn't sure if it was the right or wrong side for the glue. I think a helpful tip would be to use tweezers, which is what I did. So the button cover is cut out to let light come through which is really nice. but the glue doesn't cover the back of the lettering so it floats in front of the original button. So if you don't line it up exactly right, it won't look good. Also, I'm concerned that the tiny cutouts might catch on something and break. But we have to see how it goes. The outer right one fits perfectly on the inner lid, if you can line it up perfectly it looks really great!
