Thin and spotty paper

As other reviewers have recently pointed out, quality issues with these filters become more important when used in 2.0 systems. While my system can aggravate problems, I doubt anyone would consider these high quality filters. Others using the same components as me will probably want to consider a different product - below I will provide details of my system. I will also (try) to upload a visual comparison of the three types of products I have tried so far. These filters are thinner than any others I've used. Worse, the thickness varies widely and the pulp is loosely bound and does not have a smooth surface like most other filter papers. This makes the paper very weak, especially when wet. And with the higher water pressure that the 2.0 system injects, this paper fails most of the time. Only with perfectly meticulous packaging, a dry basket and a lighter load than usual was I able to achieve a 25% success rate. The shape also seems to contribute to the problems. Due to the undersized bottom diameter and shallower depth than other filters I've used, the basket offers less pressure support. It wasn't until I finally doubled that I had reasonable success. However, this also doubles the cost of the filter compared to the most efficient filter (Brew N' Save). So I'm going to use the rest of this box and double it. and I will not buy them again. My system is Keurig K425 (2.0) and I use these filters in the Perfect Pod EZ-Cup 2.0 basket. I have found that brewing on a 'strong' setting reduces the likelihood of bursting (due to the slower flow rate) with any type of filter. My standard brew is 10.6 grams (2 tablespoons) of coffee. I've had the most success with Ekobrew Brew N' Save filters, quite a bit of success with EZ-Cup filters, and this is the last product in my lineup.
