"Check Device Network " function in app is a red herring.

Installed easily and hooked up to the app without any issues. Then the frustration set in. It would not connect to Alexa even though I properly loaded the Smart Life App to Alexa. The Smart Life app said the network connection was bad. After several complaints to the help line I found out that the "Check Device Network" function in the app doesn't work at all so it was not a network issue! Finally, in desperation, I disabled the app in Alexa and then re-enabled it. It then found the device and started working. Hint for the manufacturer, if a diagnostic in you app doesn't work -- take it out! Otherwise it is great!
