Used to smooth putty with a wet finger, but no more. The tool has different tips for different angles. My favorite part is the scraper to remove the old sealer. I'm going through embossing once and it's not perfect because I have no experience. I clean the tool, go through it again and it comes out perfect. There is a problem when I overdo the sealant in some places because my hand was unstable; the tool takes care of the excess. I really like it, I recommend it especially if you are not a pro. You will not be afraid of the coast after using this tool. If I overdo it with the tool, I can always apply more caulk and use the tool again and again until I'm satisfied.
