I bought this dashcam to replace an old one whose company has gone out of service. After installing it and following the instructions to connect to my home network, I started setting up the app on the PC. The app couldn't see the DVR and kept saying it was offline. It will also prevent me from adding devices. When I submitted the ticket, I first received an email from "Kathy" asking me to send in any pictures I could of what was going on. So I did. In that case I'll wait. She replies a few days later to provide further instructions, to whom I emailed the results of my work (which was no different from the paper instructions I received). In that case I'll wait. At that point I had to go back to work so I couldn't reply immediately to Cathy's reply and she emailed me saying they do as they haven't received a reply (2-3 days) . Now close the application. Pooh! So I sent a reply not to close the ticket and asked if there is a phone number so I can fix this device once and for all. No Answer. When they did, they told me to do additional steps for my home firewall (I won't let a foreign company tell me to change my F/W settings - what I have confirmed is not a necessary change ). So advance 2-3 days or work. They closed the ticket and asked for feedback. At this point a month had passed and my return window had expired. Now I have a brick DVR. I do not recommend this product and buy from this company.
