Has pros: This filter has been in use for me for the past seven months. The water that comes from a pitcher filter is really distinctive. I simply put water into the kettle, so it doesn't get any residue of lime or rust, which are common problems in the Hong Kong and St. Petersburg areas, respectively. You don't have to worry about carrying 20-kilogram bottles or finding a place to store them if your friends buy bottled water instead of tap water. Additionally, it is more cost-effective. Some cons: It's not that this is a disadvantage; rather, it's more of a question. After a period of seven months, I made the decision to replace the cartridges. I purchased two #202 sets, one of which had a mineralizer and the other of which did not. The instructions do not make it apparent where the mineralizer is supposed to be installed, and it is not stated whether or not it needs to be replaced after six months.
