I didn't expect such quality. I bought these for podcasts - my previous earbuds lost sound which ruined the quality of the recording. I picked them because they didn't have a built in mic (I use a separate mic and the built in might get in the way), they have noise canceling and damn they are gorgeous. noise reduction.
