Review on Cardone 53-2728 Remanufactured Vacuum Power Brake Booster - Improved Performance, No Master Cylinder Included by Tay Fair

I've been riding this part for 6 months now and I have to say it's just "OK". It will fit/work but will not provide the same brake boost as the replacement part. My 94 LC braked brilliantly until the original booster failed. After replacing that cardone booster and checking/cleaning all the vacuum lines, my LC brakes are MUCH stiffer than before. It's good enough to drive, but let's put it that way. My wife is not comfortable driving my LC now. I almost gave two stars for this mistake, but decided to give three stars because of the significant price/savings difference between this and genuine Toyota parts and because it technically "works", albeit not well enough. I regret not having bought a genuine Toyota replacement.------------------------------------- ---- ----------- ------------ UPDATE: I finally replaced that Cardone booster with a real Toyota booster and my brakes are working normally again. Downgrading my rating to 1 star because the cardone booster failed from day one. I cannot recommend this product.
