Considering the price for the number of hooks you get this is a great deal. I bought another hook (better quality) for the whole pack price at the craft store. However, this needle seemed too big for my main yarn weight I work with and required smaller needles to fit the narrower stitches. This package offers a great variety for just that. Some hooks broke off in the area that engages the yarn, but they didn't hook my yarn so I'm not upset about it. It should be noted that the smaller the hook, the smaller the handle. If you need to work with a very small hook I would recommend getting one with a soft grippy handle otherwise you will be practically trying to hold and work a toothpick sized hook handle with the smallest sizes in this pack.
