I'm a complete novice to sanding/body work but I'm building a fiberglass car and I have yet to do it do some rework to get rid of some skin lines etc. I'm pretty good with the mechanical part of the build but working with fiberglass has bothered me for a while. I ended up buying this kit and have used it quite a bit over the past week. Basically it's a cylinder and a small block. They are quite stiff and allow me to participate in the grinding process which is good for my current phase. However, I need to use softer blocks. Also note that when used with wet and dry paper, they don't seem to absorb too much water, which is nice - they're still comfortable and easy to hold.
