I bought these filters because the kit that came with the air filters was at the end of its life and needed to be replaced. I have two Core 300 air filters and it was cheaper than buying two official filters. Visually they look the same. There is no difference between them and side by side, you will not be able to distinguish them from each other. It's also easy to install. Remove the air filter cover, replace the old filter with a new one, put the cover back on. Easy.Functionally seems to accomplish the same thing. I've only been using them for about a week, but they seem to work just as well as the official filters did when they were new. Maybe this filter isn't as effective as the official ones, but I can't say for sure without extensive testing. I know for sure they are cheaper for my needs but functionally the same. I have no complaints yet.
