Long length and great mount. I need a lock big enough to get the job done but small enough to be out of the way. And I want a mount that will hold the lock firmly and securely, but still make it easy to install and remove the lock. Many bicycle locks are too short or too long. A lock that is too long is annoying as the lock becomes heavy and bulky, causing the shackle to break, wobble or be difficult to reattach to the shackle. Its length is just right for attaching the bike to a bar or rack and/or attaching the frame to the front wheel. The mount is really well made and stable. The release button on the mount works well. And the zipper strip that attaches to the mount is also a good size and sturdy. Bonus points: The combination spins well and has no play that would allow the thief to try different numbers to determine the combination. After owning this lock for 18 months I went back to buy 2 more for a new/second bike for myself and for my wife's bike. Highly recommended.
