Really damn good lens

This lens is incredibly sharp, even wide open. You get sharp images with nice strong vignetting and medium contrast, and when you're shooting close to your subject you get beautiful swirling bokeh in the background. It produces images that look a bit retro, but with the resolution you'd expect from a modern day digital photography lens. I was so satisfied that I bought my Fujifilm 27mm f/2.8 on ebay within a few days. I really enjoy the craftsmanship of this lens and the aperture/focus rings are a real delight. For those who want a pancake lens I would say this is the obvious choice.

Pros
  • Minimum aperture: f/22
