Tried this for my daughter for the first time and she just couldn't take her hands off the bowl while they were soaking. When they were finished, she loved playing with them. Just 2 things to watch out for: 1. You are stretching. We soaked about 4 ounces of pearls and after soaking they expanded to fit in a couple gallons of a bucket. So make sure you put it in a big enough container and add enough water. One mistake we made was letting the kids play with them however they wanted, in the backyard, and after they were done playing, they trampled and crushed them on the ground, and the cleaning of the ground at that point was severe. But it was definitely worth it
