Review on New Balance 1165V1 Walking Silver Men's 👟 Shoes - Supreme Comfort and Style for Active Men by Derek Davie

I like the understated style. I designed them as casual everyday shoes. I love the highly breathable upper which helps keep my feet cool. I like the foam sole. It offers good cushioning and, despite the complaints in the test, feels stiff and flexes comfortably on the foot. However, it is at least half a size shorter than my New Balance 992. Both are 10.5 2E, but the fit is very different. This is immediately perceptible to the senses. Or by side-by-side visual comparison. Model 1165 is significantly shorter and has a narrower tip. It tapers too much towards the thumb. This pushes the toe towards the middle of the foot and pinches the joint. I will definitely be returning these. Maybe 11 4E will do what I expected. I understand that sizing and proportions vary from shoe to shoe, but I expect to be more consistent when shoes are from the same manufacturer. Buy at least one size up and half a size larger than usual. I will update my review so you know how it works for me.
