Review on StarTech.com THINTOS10: 10 ft. Ultra-Thin Digital Optical Audio Cable - Male/Male - Toslink SPDIF (3m) by Jamar Gow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They're definitely thin and break more easily, but if you don't touch them you're fine.

Right off the bat, all the isolation tricks you see on other products just right. The fiber is only affected by light and a thin opaque screen is sufficient. The only problem is that it still breaks with less force and wears out faster over time. Those two factors are irrelevant as I don't use cable as skipping rope and the environment won't affect the insulation for decades to come. This is not a problem as they are cheap and work like any fiber optic cable. They are also easier to train with a thinner cable. Maybe they're so cheap they don't work, but I've bought a few of these and they all work well.

Pros
  • Audio Cable
Cons
  • Blank

end connector is heaply made, does not stay inside the toslink port if any tension is on the cable
