Review on APC PE66W Surge Protector Power Strip - 1080 Joule, Flat Plug, 6 Outlet Cord Strip - White/Green by Deejay Allard

Purchased for our indoor breeding kennel. Worked as it should for a couple of weeks and then one day we felt something strange. We open the door to the children's room and there is only white smoke. And this thing that emits sparks and smoke as it melts, all of our lights were still on at that point. We turned off the power and waited for this garbage to cool down. If we weren't there, the fire would break out. Whatever happened, it didn't even kick the current. Our lights were 5 watts with three plugged in. We'll buy from Walmart or Target since their defense attorneys haven't tried to burn my house down yet.
