On my 1986 Blazer I had trouble or no engine restart at operating temperature. This AC-Delco engine coolant temperature was the absolute solution to the problem. A faulty coolant temperature sensor tells the engine computer (ECM) that the engine is cold when the engine is actually warm or warm to operating temperature. Therefore, the ECM, which thinks the engine is cold, sends a too-rich fuel mixture to the injectors at start, causing the engine to overfill and causing starting problems. And the fact that it's a General Motors/Chevrolet OEM part was an added bonus for me.
