I bought this to use for video calls in my business. I need to turn on video for most calls in my business, but I had an issue with my previous two webcams. The only place I can mount my camera is with a tripod directly behind a monitor, but with my previous webcams this meant I was shown in a small frame to the side of center while the whole room was behind me (which is not always the case). very clean) was shown. With the new camera, I can zoom in to show my face and shoulders with only a small portion of the space around me. In response to some reviews asking if the camera keeps its zoom settings between meetings, I answered yes. I use a "switch" to share my monitors, keyboard, mouse and webcam between two computers. Technically, when I switch from one computer to another, the devices lose connection for a second, and I was concerned that the webcam would reset to default each time, but it didn't. Instead, my zoom/pan settings were preserved at all times. Note. When I first got the camera I thought the zoom function wouldn't work. I tried this with the Windows 10 Camera app and everything worked except the zoom. It turns out that the zoom feature doesn't work when this particular app is in photo mode. When the app is in video mode, it works fine. The camera was fine and has been working fine in all my Teams calls ever since, so I think it's an oddity with the camera app. However, in the meantime I contacted the seller and he responded immediately with helpful information, so I was happy with that.
