Cheap but very sensitive; not recommended for belt drives
They're good in a pinch but I wouldn't use them for long, especially for repairs. You are thin and thin. The band belt should spin constantly and pull a decent amount of torque. These belts really don't do the job. At best, replace the belt, which should be weak. Here's a hint. If you have webbing that is only slightly stretched but is otherwise in good condition, simply boil it for a few minutes. It might not shrink much, but it might be enough to remain usable without resorting to those cheap straps.
