Review on 🐠 PENN-PLAX NuWave Betta Fish Tank Kit - Black - 1.5 Gallon with LED Light and Internal Filter by Stephanie Benoit

This is a charming little aquarium and I love how it looks. But the pump is not that great. The suction cups on the back will not stick to the walls of the tank, causing the pump to detach and sink. Unfortunately I used black sand as a base and the pump seems to have sucked the sand in and must have burned the motor while cleaning and it still doesn't work. Will have to buy another pump. I don't think you'll run into the same problem with gravel or glass gravel, but I think black sand looks amazing. I hope my moss balls don't suffer from standing water until I get a new pump. I don't know how another pump would fit either. I am very disappointed (in the pump). Maybe the manufacturer could improve the suction cups or even better make hangers for the rim of the tank. It was more money than I had hoped to waste.
