I was more excited about this grinder than I'm willing to admit. I don't have the first coffee grinder either, and there isn't much to grind, but the thing is just junk. I have read the reviews and the warning on the packaging about over tightening. It does not matter. Literally the first twist of the hand and I heard a click inside. When I opened it up I understood why they had to put puff warnings - it's the junk plastic you find in crappy salt. Meat grinder in the store. You make the thing nice, but you can also save something that can REALLY grind without breaking right away.
