Be careful when removing the old filter!

I read reviews about loud noises after installation? Tip: When removing the old filter, place a piece of thin cardboard under the filter with the arrow pointing down. The fan motor in (GM) is located directly below this filter. If you take out the old one, leaves and dirt can get into the fan motor, and if you replace it with a new one, you think that the new filter is noisy and there is dirt in the fan. If you have noise after installation, pull out the filter with the air conditioner off, then leave the fan (battery or electric) if you don't want gas in the truck. Or any forced air supply should act like an upside down shop vacuum etc. and blow out all leaves and debris. I learned all this the hard way, and the noise went away after the leaves fell off. By the way, it's called Fresh Breeze, not Frebrezz lol. There is no new registration.

Pros
  • Prevents harmful particles from entering the engine and increases engine wear
Cons
