This is a gas sunroof brace (lift leg). He keeps the back door open. I bought one from "PARTS GEEK" which is guaranteed to fit my car. It's not like this. This one from AMAZON is also guaranteed to fit exactly. It was. I will never use "PARTS GEEK" again. Amazon is way better. Parts Geek's return policy is terrible. I don't know Amazon. I've never had to send anything back from them.
