A great way to use Bluetooth to connect to an existing set of bookshelf speakers

The Aiyima tube amp is a relatively small unit that delivers good performance and nice sound. I'm not a music lover but I've played some classical cello pieces as well as rock, pop and viola to try it out and the tone and overall sound was pretty good. I find the sound quality to be better than those little portable Bluetooth speakers, probably because I'm using a perfectly good set of Andrew Jones 80W Pioneer bookshelf speakers that I had on hand. This was my relatively inexpensive way to get "wireless" bluetooth speakers. Please note that it is not wireless as the amplifier is connected to a power supply and traditional copper cables are used between the amplifier and the speaker. The amp puts out 100 watts, which is enough for normal listening, so I leave the volume knob about halfway and adjust the volume using the volume buttons on my iPhone. Once you flip the switch to turn on the device, let it warm up a bit and switch to Bluetooth, the pairing process is easy. I was able to get to the other side of the house on the same floor and stayed connected and in control. One of the downsides is that if you're connecting a tube amp to more than one mobile device, the last person to connect has to temporarily turn off their bluetooth while you're connecting via bluetooth or you'll get locked out. It played audio from my Pandora music subscription just fine. YouTube videos from other streaming services like Disney and Netflix played on my iPhone while audio played through the bookshelf speakers. You can also connect the line via the aux input, but I haven't tried it yet. I've been looking at the replacement vacuum tubes which seem to be standard and inexpensive although I haven't had to replace them yet.
