Review on Farberware Limited Stainless Cookware Prestige by Andrew Enriquez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

bright attractive colour, good size for cookware, lighter than expected

A lot of the cookware sets I see at Revain or in department stores are undersized, with 8 inch pans and 1 liter pots that my recipes are too small for most people. This set has sizes that I can use as my main cookware. All pans have a thick base for even heat, making cooking easier. The top walls are much thinner and surprisingly light. Is that the style these days? I'm used to a thick heavy pan. I prefer glass lids but they work well. "Ceramic" non-stick surfaces work great when new. Let's see how long they last. Some "ceramic" surfaces are not very durable. The bright blue color of these pans isn't for everyone, but I love how they brighten up my kitchen. Of course, to achieve this effect you must have a full set of pans of the same color. The wooden utensils are large and of good quality. I guess they give you an example of pot care (no metal utensils). They are a nice functional addition to this set.
