I got it to work because what they had us use for dogs was totally unacceptable. I have the L and it works well with all of our large breed dogs, the leash length is great, it allows your pal to be a bit ahead of you but still close. The material is very comfortable to the touch, it's soft and fairly durable which is great because some of our dogs get very excited when walking and will bite and pull on the leash while others will hold me and challenge me to a game of pull rope (say you that?). and the collar was intact. Not that the dogs care, but I really like the color.
