Great tablet for toddlers.

Let's start with the most important things. We ordered this tablet for our granddaughter who is traveling halfway across the country with her mother and stepfather. When she's with her son, she uses her Kindle tablet, but she doesn't hang out with her mother. We wanted something on a budget because we're not exactly sure how things are in their house. It definitely fitted, and our biggest concern was being able to video chat with her. My husband set it up and it was really easy to do. He's a techie, but I sat next to him and could easily have done it myself. It's true it's not the latest Android but it works great for what we need. We can download Facebook and Baby Messenger here and it works fine. We were even able to download a Minecraft server for her to play and that worked out well too. The camera isn't the best, but I didn't expect it to be on a budget tablet. It's definitely plastic, and compared to our Kindle Fires for our younger kids or Samsung for my husband, that's an obvious difference in quality. Just a little thicker and definitely lighter. It fits in one of those cat ear baby foam cases though! We believe this will be enough to protect it from the falls to come for now. It comes with a headphone jack, which is 100% essential for kids and games. Loading times are a bit slow compared to what we already have, but for what kids need it should be enough. If the battery is low, they're probably using them for too long anyway. The screen is fine, again for a younger child this is normal. All in all, that's what we were looking for. It does enough basic stuff that we agree on and doesn't require a huge investment in case it breaks.
