I bought two of these collars. Both fall randomly. The transparent tube is meant to go into the central "hub" and stay there. They use friction to stay in place. The problem is that the plastic tubing is mirror smooth and slipping out of the collar sleeve while my gold is just walking around. I've taped the ends to increase the diameter of the tube (to cause more friction) and also used abrasive cleaner to roughen the outside of them so they get stuck in the sleeve to no avail. Bottom line, good idea, bad design.
