Maybe not that strong for pouring

I got really lucky with this but looks like you hit or miss (like the first try). I didn't like the painting so I scraped it off and wiped it dry but this morning I found it was "see through". Now I'm afraid to end my successful attempts at epoxy. If anyone has experience with epoxy please share. I originally used acrylic paint and then wiped it off with a damp cloth. Also note that after painting all four corners are rubbed.
