when you mean no smell, you mean no smell. I have a picky cat who can't stand smells. Her water bowl sits on a ledge just above where I keep my dish sponge and she always threw those green/yellow 3M sponges in the sink so the smell wouldn't affect the taste of her water bowl. since I switched to a Jetz scrubber, the sponge stays still without worrying about the cat. it also lasts FOREVER. I'm not kidding, I've been using ONE sponge since DECEMBER of last year. only in the last month did the spongy side begin to tear. Even if you tear it, the nasty pieces of sponge won't fall off. and after all this time no smell. nobody. still cleans my pots, pans and utensils just as clean as day one. worth every penny.
