Worked well at first but only once! It's a shame, but I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't buy it again. And now there is no way to get my money back.

I tell literally everyone about these sponges. I have already bought them as gifts for several friends and family. I love these sponges. I can't believe when others don't have these sponges and use these disgusting yellow-green sponges. Doesn't retain odors - Dishwasher safe if odor builds up - Easy to clean of leftover food and other residue - Lasts forever

I compare them to the standard green and yellow sponges as well as the "eco" sponges. I never thought until now that there is a big difference from one sponge to another. I only use sponges to clean pots, pans, bakeware and knives. These black sponges make them much cleaner! They also resist knives a little better! And I got the impression that they don't scratch that much (although it's hard to tell). I've been using them for many months now. I just wish they came in other colors.

I've been using them for years. I originally bought them because they are black. I don't like the traditional kitchen sponge colors. I would say this is the best kitchen sponge ever! Doesn't stink, lasts forever, the abrasive and smooth sides of the sponge do what they're supposed to and finally look nice. You also can't throw them in the washing machine to clean them. The shape of a rectangle and a circle is similar in size. It really depends on your preferences.

UPDATE: The review below was my first impression, now that I've spent some time with them I have to re-evaluate my review to say, that they are ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. I have no idea what people use them for that gives them good grades. I have bought so many 4+ star items from Revain and so many of them are junk. This is no exception. I don't understand how something can last more than a wash with the crappy side of a sponge. I should have believed the most helpful review and stayed away. Thank you

Want to reduce waste as our world plunges into environmental disaster, but still use the cleaning power of a traditional sponge? Look no further! But seriously. I bought 3 packs 9 months ago and we have just started using the 2nd. And the only reason we had to switch is because my friend cut too many times while cleaning our knives. As long as you wring it out properly after you're done, you'll never have an odor and it will last practically forever. Even if you don't push!

These items will last forever with care. The trick is to rinse and wring them out after use so they don't get smelly for a while. But over time they will stink, but that's okay! I have found that cooking cures this. When they start to spoil (and the dishwasher or washing machine doesn't seem able to cope) I cook them in a saucepan on the stovetop for about 5 minutes. Then I rinse them well with cold water, clean the pan and cook again for 5 minutes. They come out without a hint of odor and look

when you mean no smell, you mean no smell. I have a picky cat who can't stand smells. There are several scrubbers that will clean a pan, but this one has at least one feature that sets it apart from the rest. I'll save that for last. I give 5 stars for the fragrance because it doesn't exist. 3 stars for absorbency because (IMHO) it really isn't meant to wipe up big messes. I use it almost exclusively as a dishwashing liquid.
