Review on Creality Original Flexible Removable 235X235MM: The Ultimate 3D Printer Upgrade by Robert Prix

This magnetic work surface was the answer to many of my 3D printing problems. In particular, it solved the adhesion issues I had when printing with PETG. PLA adhered well to my glass platform (mostly), but I struggled to get permanent adhesion with PETG, especially on small parts. Parts adhere perfectly to this surface. In fact, they stick almost too well. Small parts and nozzle cleaning strips in particular can be difficult to remove. It's a double-edged sword, however, as it can be difficult to add the fine details to a typical glass bed. On the one hand you need extra adhesion, on the other hand it can be a bit difficult to remove because I don't want to bend the surface so much as to damage it. It is particularly difficult to remove nozzle cleaning strips. . It's not so heavy that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but keep that in mind and be careful when removing it so you don't damage the finish. The skirt is also sometimes difficult to take off, but I think I've learned how to take it off properly. Finally, I'd rather have it stick well than not enough. I'd rather spend a few extra minutes removing a small amount of filament from the surface than spend hours fiddling with settings, cleaning, tape, fine-tuning alignment, and wasted filament with a regular glass surface. I am very satisfied with this product. and will definitely buy again. It's much more forgiving than glass and worth the $11 I spent on it in late summer 2021. Excellent value for money and quality.
