Install on pool lines as backup freeze protection. The hardwired Intermatic thermostat was supposed to turn on when the air temp reached 36F, but it didn't work for me. I now have a replacement thermostat control with remote control. I would like a longer rep cord for the pool temp control but it is weatherproof so I can move the entire unit. So happy with it, I have two now. The second is to keep pineapples green during the North Carolina winter.
