I've worn these things about 6 times on a really rough and rural solo course where there are tons of streams and little ditches to cross and while I wear Unlike my usual blue jeans, I'll always know my feet and butt stay DRY! Just because they prevent water from getting on your feet/bum and they are made of a very durable material, I recommend them to all my riding friends. I know it's not necessarily cheap, but do you want to ride dry or not? I bought size 30 and they fit me perfectly. I usually wear size 31 jeans.
