Ehhh Styling Products

I've been wearing a lipstick for years and decided to spend 50-100 to find a better lipstick. I've noticed that everyone has different hair types and needs different "hold" and different "shine". So here is my list of HOW different lipsticks have worked for me. This should be used so you buy what you need. They are classified in different aspects. Then I'll tell you about my routine. American Crew Lipstick (Water Based)Apply: FairShine: MidHold: MidDry Crispness: NoScent: LightWashable: VeryReuzel High Shine Blue: (Water Based)Apply: FairShine: MidHold: Very StrongDry Crispness: Very StrongScent: EasyWashable: Shampoo"Best Offer" Viking Revolution (Water Based) Application: FairShine: MidHold: ConcreteDry Crisp: VerySmell: SlightWashable: RoughHeavy Hold Dapper Dan (Oil Based) Application: Like ClayGloss: HighHold: MediumDry Crisp: LightSmell: LightWashable: Requires Teddy Shampoo Boy Slick (on Oil based) Application: EasyShine: VeryHold: LightDry Crispy: A Little Fragrance: Strong Mint within an hour Washable: Yes "I want that one day. I have normal hair, wavy with a capital "S". I wanted a fairly high shine without the super hold of a 1970's helmet hair. Some people may strive more for solidity than brilliance. For me, the high-hold, water-based products held like a gel, pulled a lot of hair when applied, and caused my hair to clump. . So now I'm leaning towards oil based lipsticks. My hair seems to be soaking up the oil anyway, so I don't walk around all day looking like an oil wiper. Adding argon oil and leave-in conditioner before lipstick also helps give hair a beautiful radiant shine.
