Great Back - Terrible Instructions

Pros: Once installed, the back is great. Adjustable. Offers great support. This is an essential addition to your kayak. Cons: Directions are terrible. The black and white copy in the box is confusing and the photos are too small. There's a PDF version online and the photos are better in color and enlarged, but they're still large thumbnails at best. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble and properly install the backrest. Once I figured that out, I could easily set up the next one in 10 minutes or less. I don't know who wrote the instructions but they are terrible. as opposed to the back. This is the best accessory I have ever bought for my kayak. I have used it 4 days in a row and have ridden over 80 miles and am so thankful I spent the money on the basic backrest that came with the kayak. Spend your money and join the club of people faced with absolutely horrible installation instructions.
