Review on πŸ”ͺ Efficient Victorinox Swiss Army Peeler for Easy Food Preparation by Kevin Samuels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm more smitten with this potato peeler than a human should be

Do you know that grocery stores have a basket like this for sale? Things they don't usually keep and then remember why not sell them? This was my first experience with this scrub. I needed one for our caravan, it was cheap and of course there was brand awareness from the same people who brought us our beloved Swiss Army Knife. After using it I was impressed with the sharpness, subtle ergonomics and the fact that it has a USEFUL peephole remover on the tip. I knew immediately that I had to buy another one for the house. It's so sharp that I never actually get the peeler off the veggies, just using a back-and-forth scraping motion that I call "Stealth Mode". Both of our Boston Terriers are chopping board fans, so they're usually underfoot during the cleaning, the so-called "Carrot Show". The only caveat is that it's so sharp I accidentally snapped the tip of my thumbnail off. Buy two. You will regret the day it becomes boring and unusable, and no one can tell how long Victorinox will stay in the peeler business.

Pros
  • Commercial blade with non-slip handle
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
